The Start

Late night capture.  I've learned two things...don't wait until the last light and the last light doesn't work.

Dr Suess week seems to be milestone for Kindergarten reading.  I captured my older daughter reading this very same book to me last year.  I just love how Dr Suess's books promote confidence in reading.

I'm off to see what my friend Jude from our blog circle has been up to, you should too.  :)

Head Shots

Another week has quickly passed us!  I was inspired by Meg Bitton this week to take some head shots of my girls.  I realized that I have the perfect color paint on one of our walls.  This room is one of the three that will not undergo our house re-model.  We did all the bedrooms a year ago so come May we'll probably all take to living in our rooms.

It's been so cold this last week with morning temperatures of -14F.  It's just too cold to do anything outside.  So I just quickly took these photos for the weekly blog group I am a part of.  You are welcome to follow our circle and see what Melinda has been up to.

And I had my husband take one of me before we went out for a date on Saturday night.  It's hard to be in front of the camera.

Enjoy your day!

Seven

She turned seven the beginning of the month and then the following week was sick, missing three days of school.  There were times when she wasn't feeling so sick and I took advantage of her being the only child home.  I've come to realize that it's she does like the camera, she just doesn't get a chance.

One of the things we would like to do a little more of for 2015 is to spend more individual time with each child.  I will love this for many reasons, such as this.

My big girl is seven.

Melinda is next up on our weekly blog circle.  Let's go see what she has been up to this week here.

Have a great day!
